INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING SESSIONS

    Due to lack of funding, we levy a charge for one to one counselling, and that is based on a tiered system of payments.

    The charges are based on your salary, which allows us to state what is expected from you, to engage in our services, and get the benefits of what we provide

    Example:

    If, PER YEAR, you earn between:

    £10k and below, we do not expect a payment, but if you can afford a donation, that would be of help, but not required.

    £10k - £15k, we would expect a payment of £10 per session.

    £15k - £20k, we would expect a payment of £15 per session.

    £20k - £25k, we would expect a payment of £20 per session.

    £25k - £30k, we would expect a payment of £25 per session.

    £30k+          we would expect a payment of £30 per session.

    Sessions are usually more than one hour per session, as we find it takes longer than an hour to get started on sexual abuse issues.

    Not everyone feels ready or able to face a group session in the beginning, and quite a few men prefer counselling, before starting group therapy sessions, so with that in mind, we offer adult male Survivors of sexual abuse, who are over the age of 17, individual counselling sessions at our offices, during pre-arranged hours.

    Please be aware that there will be an assessment to determine whether or not counselling would be helpful to you at this present time.

    N.B. Please not that we do NOT work with sex offenders, convicted or otherwise.

    Clients can telephone us direct, or are often referred by their GP, agencies, family or even friends.

    Confidentiality is expected and maintained at all times. A contract is agreed and signed, and a copy of that is yours to keep.
